County Jails—Gangs, Insanity
and Danger

http://www.electionforum.org

Currently, 58% of the 170,000 inmates who go through Los Angeles County jails are illegal aliens. Further, it's estimated an alarming number of these inmates are also gang members.

These inmates are bad people—they've killed people, stolen and destroyed property. And most inmates only serve about 50% of their sentence—and then go out and hurt more people all over again.

You as a taxpayer have to pay for the police expense, prosecution expense, public defenders, judges and juries plus the jail and food expenses for those here illegally (the cost per inmate per year is $19,509.25).

Yet Mayor Villaraigosa, most of the City Council and some of the Los Angeles County Supervisors oppose deporting them. Does this make sense?
