Los Angeles City Voter Guide - LAVotersGuide.com logo

Welcome to the
Los Angeles Voter Guide Website

At LAvoterguide.com we have carefully evaluated the candidates and issues for the upcoming Los Angeles election.

Our Los Angeles election recommendations are designed to help you cut through the rhetoric, election propaganda and biased media coverage of the campaigns.

As the election approaches, we evaluated each of the candidates following 10 family value criteria:

1. Reducing the bloated bureaucracy
2. Providing real solutions to protect kids from gangs and crime
3. Improving education standards
4. Controlling schools with wise fiscal management
5. Creating more accountability of teachers, school administrations and city employees
6. Cutting waste and inefficiency in the schools and city
7. Achieving independence from—and not becoming a puppet of—the powerful unions that prevent needed reform and protect incompetent teachers and city employees
8. Supporting a parent’s right to send their children to charter and other schools if the local school is failing the students
9. Looking to privatize and outsource government services for lower costs and greater productivity
10. Pledging to reduce taxes...and not to vote for new taxes

We hope our recommendations will equip you with important information you need to make a wise choice at the ballot box.

Best wishes,

Craig A. Huey

What people are saying about our recommendations:

Incredibly useful and informative

Craig,

“Thank you so much for this incredibly useful and informative voting guide. With the confusion and double-talk that come along with bonds, measures, propositions, etc., I appreciate your hard work and effort in providing this guide to help sift through the politics.

“Thank you again for all your hard work. May God bless you and all you do.”

            —Mysti Adams

Appreciate your insight

Craig,

“THANK YOU…after searching the web for local election info for over an hour, I found your site, and I truly appreciate your insight on these important issues.”

            —John and Sonia Wolfe

Thank you for helping to “get to the bottom line”

Mr. Huey,

“I caught one of your interviews on KWVE and was very impressed. Thank you for your willingness and time for researching and compiling all this information for those of us with limited time and resources. Thank you also for helping to ‘get to the bottom line’ on so many measures that are, quite frankly, confusing and misleading.”

            —Jim Ernst

Thanks for all you do

Hi Craig,

“I heard your presentation. Thanks very much for all you're doing. I really appreciate your recommendation on judges. I vote no unless I know something about judges.”

            —Russ Neglia

Significant research provided

Craig,

“Congratulations on the ‘awesome’ success of the Forum at St. Andrew’s. I appreciate the significant research on the judges and the propositions—very good job."

            —Herb Peters

Most helpful information

Dear Craig,

“Thanks for your work in putting together the Forum at St. Andrew's. It was most helpful, especially concerning the judges. I think your turnout proved that ‘family-values’ conservatives are not ‘taking a fast’ on politics this year."

            —Dan Koblosh
